Traditional numbers in the UK are geographic and are linked to a BT exchange. A wide variety of non-geographic numbers are available for business use and these can provide a number of useful features:
Allow your customers to call you free of charge or for you to earn income from their call to you.
Give a company national dimension with same number range throughout all branches regardless of location
Provide a number for life that can be moved to any location with an office move.

Premium rate
Callers are charged a premium rate ranging upwards from 10p on a per call or per minute basis. Premium numbers are normally used for value-added content services or support hotlines.
A range of Intelligent Network services are available on all of iHub’s business numbers, allowing you to change the routing of a call based on time of call, location of caller, volume of incoming calls or if the called party is busy or the call is not answered. iHub can also provide you with management reports giving details of calls received.
