How it works

Easily integrated into existing ‘back office’ software, iHub Live enables job information to be sent between your office and Field force – Base to Mobile and Mobile to Base – in real time.

 

Each field based employee is equipped with a powerful PDA – a data terminal and mobile phone combined – connected to the Control Centre via the GPRS network, and utilizing reliable and secure ‘push technology’ for increased data speed and dramatically reduced communication costs. If your employee and office staff need to talk to each other, the XDA can be used as a mobile phone – or this functionality can be de-activated if preferred.

 

Complete details of any new jobs arriving at the office can be sent to the selected field based employee. If the employee is already on the move, the instruction can be converted into speech so that they won’t need to take their eyes off the road. The field based employee confirms receipt by simply clicking a button on the PDA, enabling the office to begin monitoring job status with an immediately visible job acceptance.

 

Similarly, the field based employee can confirm completion of work with a single click on the PDA – then if necessary capturing a signature and forward it to the back office for real-time proof of arrival.

 

Job done.  The office has now captured all relevant information in real time.
