Mike Webb, CEO

Mike began his career in manufacturing, working 14 years for Black and Decker. Having successfully filled a number of senior marketing positions he went on to become a European Director. Mike then spent nearly 8 years with Vodafone as Marketing and Customer Services Director. He steered Vodafone’s commercial strategy throughout its highly successful growth period. Since leaving Vodafone Mike has founded a number of telecommunication companies including Livetime which was purchased by BT and is now known as BT Movio.

 

Chris Barley, IP Services Director

Chris has 15 years experience in IP, working for NTL where he was responsible for deploying satellite voice and ATM services , and ACC Telecom, where he headed product management for Intelligent Network and IP services. Chris then founded Corex Networks, one of the first Service Providers to provide hosted VoIP services, based on Cisco CallManager and ICM routing software. Chris holds a mechanical engineering degree and MBA.


Kate Covill, Wholesale Partner Services Director

Kate has worked in Telecoms since 1987, initially as Engineering Director, then Sales Director with one of the original telecoms providers outside of BT -Lamont Consultancy Services a London based installation and maintenance provider. In 1997 Kate was approached by MFS /Worldcom Ltd to work for them, having been one of MFS’s main resellers. After 10yrs at what is now Verizon Business managing UK & Ireland Wholesale Technical Consultancy and pre sales Kate has now brought her experience to iHub.


David Green, Commercial Director

David has had many years experience in mobile service provision having spent 13 years at Vodafone in a number of countries, managing the global roll-out of Mobile Service Providers. David then became Marketing VP at Damovo, a leading telecoms systems integrator where he managed setting up Damovo as a Vodafone service provider. David used his mobile experience to establish a successful consultancy business for reducing corporate mobile expenditure which lead to jointly founding Brightcom with Ian Marshall which has now been integrated into iHub.


Stuart Munro, Customer Services Director

Stuart, FRSA,is a Chartered Manager and Chartered Marketeer with 30 years in Telecommunications and Data communications. Stuart has had General Manager roles in a number of global companies including Plessey, Nortel, BT and RSLCOM. Before co-founding iHub, Stuart was CEO of a successful group of Specialist Privately owned Companies which he co-founded focusing on the high growth areas of the Technology marketplace, providing Consulting business development resource, market presence and partnership throughout the UK and EMEA. Stuart is also the non executive chairman of MWR info security.


Ian Marshall, Operations Director

Ian had seven years experience with Vodafone leading the Fixed Mobile Convergence team within Vodafone Corporate. This included managing both the sales and provisioning teams for Vodafone's LCR offering which he expanded to include fixed links and Mobile VPNs from customer's PBX systems. Ian joined Damovo in 2001 as Partner Manager and managed several partner relationships and launched a global partnership with Nortel for their voice and data portfolio. In 2004 Ian was a joint founder of Touchdown Offices which provides a hosted call handling system aimed at the small business market. Ian was also joint founder of BrightCom with David Green which focussed on fixed mobile convergence solutions which has been integrated into iHub.


David Newland, Non Executive Director

David is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has over 20 years experience in Telecoms. He was Vodafone’s inaugural group finance controller from when the company was a Racal subsidiary through to being a top 20 FTSE company. More latterly he was Financial Controller of Vodafone Corporate, the business to business service provider.
